Meet Grizzly! He’s a gentle giant looking for his forever home. He’s still a puppy as he’s only a year old and he’s a big sweet baby. We helped someone rescue him from up North and unfortunately due to some compatibility issues with my dogs it looks like we won’t be able to be his forever home which breaks my heart.

It’s not all on Grizzly, it’s my two boys as well. Grizzly does get along with my dogs, but he is food aggressive towards other dogs, so we feed him separately which is fine and completely understandable considering how he spent the first 10 months of his life, but he’s now sometimes being aggressive towards my other dogs in moments of jealousy and in some other situations and one of my boys is sometimes behaving the same way towards
Grizzly in some situations.

Grizzly loves people and has not shown any aggression towards humans. He’s so very, very sweet, he loves belly rubs, loves to cuddle, and loves getting pats. He isn’t leash trained and isn’t trained on any commands yet. He is very food motivated but is also very stubborn and at times sneaky lol He’s a big boy and is continuing to grow, so he does eat a lot.

He’s scared of going into the vehicle, he’s not use to that as he was an outdoor dog before and has only been in a vehicle twice. Even though he was an outside dog before joining us, he now likes having the option to come inside and be with his humans for cuddles and naps and what not and he likes to sleep inside when it’s too cold out or to warm outside and he’s house trained.

I want to be certain that whoever he ends up with is the right match so that he doesn’t have to ever be rehomed again. He’s a very good boy and deserves a home where he can be spoiled and get lots of love and lots of attention.

I got him neutered, tattooed, microchipped, vaccinated, and he’s due for a Da2pp booster April 22nd. I’m not looking to make money off him, I just want to find an amazing family and home where he can spend the rest of life worry free.

- Vaccines: Up to date (due for a Da2pp booster in four weeks time)

- Good with kids: Unknown, recommend no small children

- Good with dogs: Yes & No. Would need a slow and supervised introduction. Would need to be fed separately. Would need an experienced dog owner.
