Anatolian Shepherds, out of working parents. Both parents guard our property, sheep, goats, and chickens.
6 males, 6 females. Born November 6. Ready to go 2nd week of January.
Mom is very intelligent, exceptionally athletic with a wonderful, calm temperament. She weighs in at approximately 110 lbs.
Sire is an incredible guardian, very protective and intelligent. He is more wary of strangers and is an excellent perimeter patrol dog. He’s the heavy weight, at approximately 150 lbs.
Both are very protective and loving to their people as well as the animals they bond to.
Puppies will come microchipped with their first round of vaccines and dewormed.
These dogs will keep your property safe from 2 legged and 4 legged threats.
They are hardy, athletic, and known to actively defend/kill predators. Their coat is low maintenance, generally only needs to be groomed out during shedding season, spring and fall. As long as they have a good dog house with straw they do well in the winter.
As the dogs grow older and more confident in their job they only bark when necessary but not excessively.
We have heavy predator pressure, and prior to owning these dogs, a lot of issues with theft.
We have not lost animals to a predator and no more theft problems.
*** Please note these are a livestock guardian breed, so without good fences their instinct is to patrol approximately a 3 mile radius.
These are working dogs for working homes, either to guard livestock or a yard/acreage.
