This is Bessie; she's a 6 year old Purebred Shih Tzu that is looking for a good home. She was surrendered to us after her owner could no longer care for her.

Bessie is very friendly and she gets along very well with other dogs. She does not make much noise other than the odd bark if the doorbell rings. She's gentle and LOVES to cuddle.

Bessie is a little overweight and could stand to loose a few pounds. But that is doable with some walking and portion control of her food.

Bessie is crate trained. She could use some more leash work and we've been working on this. She's doing fantastic but we encourage the new family to continue this. Walking is not only good exercise for dogs but it also puts them in a sort of zen state.

She is up to date on her vaccinations and in good health. She is not spayed. However, if you would like us to have her spayed at our Vet we can do that for the cost of the spay.

Bessie is registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and her registration would be transferred to the new owners. She is being placed in her new home on a non-breeding agreement.
